Thursday's meeting this week will be singing Christmas Carols at Amerisist.
After the caroling, we will hand out Pinewood Derby Car kits for all the boys.
When: Thu, December 13, 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Where: Amerisist Assisted Living, 106 Westminster Drive, Front Royal, VA 22630 (map)
Take Route 55 out of town toward Linden
Left at the Light onto Westminster (moose lodge as a landmark)
Amerisist is down the street on the right
We'll meet there, sing and then hand out the cars.

Festival of Leaves Parade and Pack Campout
SAT. October 13th
What: Parade
Where: Town of Front Royal
9:00 am - meet for parade at FRUMC
10:00 am – Parade begins from Luray Avenue
What: Pack Campout
Where: Island Ford Farm
4:00-6:00 pm – arrive, tent set up and campfire dinners (bring your own dinner, suggested foil packs)
6:00-7:30 - tree identification and sunset hike
7:30-8:00 - flag retire and s'mores
8:00-9:00 - star gazing with telescopes
9:00-10:00 - campfire song skits etc.
SUN. October 14th
7:30-9:00 am - flag raise, breakfast
9:00-11:00 am - grid search for “downed helicopter” and pilot extraction: Tigers- head trauma, Wolf- broken arm, Bears- broken leg, Webelos- wounded individual extraction with a Stokes Basket
11:00 am -12:00 pm - pack up and tear down

Our regular den meetings will resume for this fall on Thursday, September 6, 7:15 – 8:30 pm at Front Royal United Methodist Church (map)
Pack/Den Meetings will be held every Thursday. On the 2nd Thursday EVERY month, we'll be headed out to the farm. More details for the monthly farm trips will come at the September 6 meeting.
